Cosmo recruits, trains, and manages EMCOR Services Fluidics’ field service force of 55 CFC-certified technicians who provide preventive maintenance and repair/replacement services of chillers, boilers, and controls to client facility sites throughout the Tri-State Area. He assures prompt material ordering, quality service, and account profitability and is dedicated to sustaining relationships with Fluidics’ clientele.
Cosmo has over 33 years of experience in the mechanical services industry, beginning his career as a technician, gaining hands-on experience in the field. He was promoted to a lead service technician for the Bristol Myers Squibb account, performing maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and controls at 12 New Jersey buildings. He supervised the on-site building engineers and assured general maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other building support systems. Cosmo advanced his career and become a field supervisor for the Liberty Property Trust account, responsible for five million square feet of commercial office space. He provided support to the client in capital planning, due diligence studies, bid preparation, project management, and controls troubleshooting/programming. For the past eight years Cosmo has been Fluidics’ Service Manager.
Cosmo attended Penn State Abington for DDC controls and structures and took various industry-specific courses at Lincoln Technical Institute and through the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES). He has completed special training for the joint apprenticeship program, completed courses in OEM equipment, and completed leadership training through the MSCA, including ALI of Babson College. Cos played an integral role in helping to develop the EMCOR Building Services Dispatcher Training Program.
The Personal Side
Cos enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, cooking, and coaching youth sports. He and his wife of more than 25 years live in Bucks County, PA.
