Mike brings over 20 years experience in safety and health management from the shipyard, construction and general industry sectors. By instilling employees and managers with EMCOR's core belief that all accidents are preventable, Mike helps ensure that clients' projects are completed safely and on schedule with minimal loss of time due to accidents, by ensuring the implementation of the Fluidics Safety Plan. As the company's senior safety and health executive, he instills knowledge and awareness of safety and health matters, trains managers and employees in the EMCOR Safe Work Practices Procedures and oversees the EMCOR Work Hazard Assessment program.

 

Expertise
A graduate of Temple University, Mike's experience spans the safety and health fields, providing him with expertise in industrial hygiene, as well as construction, general industry, and environmental safety. Prior to joining Fluidics, Mike held safety and health positions with the Department of the Navy performing safety and health audits at various Naval and Marine facilities as well underway sea trials for recently retrofitted ships, was a Site Safety Manager with EBASCO/Raytheon Engineers and Constructors during the construction and start up of four cogeneration power plants and was the Assistant Safety Manager at Johnson Matthey Precious Metals reclamation plant.

 

Mike is a member of the National Safety Council, the National Fire Protection Association, the American Society of Safety Engineers, where he serves as a Board Member of the local Chapter.

 

The Personal Side
Mike is married and has two teenage sons, enjoys working on house projects, is an Emergency Medical Technician and volunteers his time with the Community Ambulance Association in which he serves as President.
