As a member of Fluidics' senior executive team, Ron keeps the company focused on completing clients' projects in a timely, high-quality way, while providing superior levels of customer care. In addition to overseeing daily engineering project planning meetings, he is responsible for ensuring effective field and office communications, accurate service estimating, systematic estimate reviews, efficient office management, and responsive sales engineering support.
Expertise
Ron started in the construction business in the early 1970's. From his initial position installing supermarket refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, he was promoted to project foreman with responsibility for five supermarket installations. He joined Fluidics in 1980, rising through the ranks from foreman to field superintendent. Before becoming senior vice president in 1999, he was vice president of the service division's projects and dispatch group. Fluidics named him to his present position and made him a partner in 2003.
Over the years, Ron has managed a wide range of tradespeople, including sheetmetal workers, fabrication shop personnel, electricians, plumbers, and steamfitters. The result is a management style that combines adaptability and motivational skill with a commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
Ron holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from Drexel University and a management training graduate degree from Southern Methodist University. He has also attended Babson College's Advanced Leadership Institute. In addition, he has taken courses in construction management, engineering, at Penn State University; total quality management at LaSalle University, plumbing engineering and design at the Community College of Philadelphia, and air conditioning troubleshooting at the Philadelphia Wireless Institute.
A member of the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society and the NEBB (National Environmental Balancing Bureau) board, he has completed the apprenticeship program and high tonnage course conducted by Steamfitters Local #420, which has also certified him for air and water balancing.
The Personal Side
Married with three children and four grandchildren, Ron loves boating and watching sports, especially hockey.
