Tom ensures his division's projects are completed on time and within budget, while consistently meeting clients' highest quality standards. Responsible for four project managers and the division's union labor, he oversees cost control, implements effective safety procedures and attainment of safety goals, resolves conflicts, and plans and schedules manpower and materials. He is also responsible for the division's annual performance, setting goals and managing the budget. And as part of Fluidics' senior leadership team, he negotiates union/management issues to ensure fair and equitable handling.

Expertise
With 33 years of construction industry experience on commercial, industrial, and institutional projects, Tom combines on-the-job expertise with substantial project and people management skills. After working as a welder with Bechtel and J.J. White, he joined Crouse Co. as a general foreman. He then moved to Fluidics as a steamfitter, where he worked his way up through the ranks as foreman, general foreman, small projects superintendent, and general outside superintendent, before taking his current position.

In addition to completing his five-year apprenticeship with Steamfitters Local #420, Tom holds certifications for black pipe, stainless stick, and heliarc welding. He has also taken confined space and OSHA 10-hour training, as well as various seminars on such topics as project management, construction law, and personnel management.

The Personal Side
Married with two children and two grandchildren, Tom enjoys hunting and fishing.
