Credit Collections Manager

Value Delivered

By effectively managing cash flow, Todd helps maintain the stability required to ensure consistently reliable, high-quality HVAC, mechanical construction & electrical retrofit service that meets clients' most exacting facilities management standards and rigid specifications. In the case of new and prospective clients, he authenticates their creditworthiness by reviewing their Dun & Bradstreet records, bank and vendor credit references, and where applicable, financial statements. In addition, he tracks accounts receivables to ensure timely payment and oversees all facets of bank and accounts receivable reconciliations. He also works with project teams to track and monitor job costs against estimates, so they can make appropriate adjustments to ensure within-budget project completion.

Business & Account Receivable Expertise in the Construction Industy

With 20 years of business experience, Todd combines extensive accounts receivable expertise with strong technology skills. After a four-year stint in construction as a ceramic tile specialist, Todd joined GBC Globell, a computer distributor, as assistant credit manager. In that post, he reviewed customer credit limits, supervised collections, and worked with third-party collection agencies. He also helped the company maximize sales by developing alternative financing approaches that enabled those with weak or insufficient credit to make purchases without undue risk to the company. He then moved to Public Service Electric & Gas (PSE&G) Energy Technologies. There, he managed the finance group responsible for invoicing gas and electric commodities. In addition to entering customer contract data and monthly meter readings, they also tracked cash receipts, provided management with cost and revenue reports, and did both bank and accounts receivable reconciliations. When utilities deregulation necessitated a different billing approach, Todd saved the company over $400,000 by automating the new process using in-house resources and software rather than outside vendors.

Todd studied business law and accounting at Camden County College and received an associate certificate from Associated Business Careers. He also has advanced proficiency on Microsoft Access, Excel and Word.
